Traditional Instruments Documentary Series Opening Titles
This project features a series of opening title sequences created for a three-part documentary series on TRT Müzik, a channel of the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT). Each episode explores the craftsmanship behind a different traditional musical instrument: the kanun, davul, and darbuka.
Each opening sequence was created entirely in 3D, with the featured instrument individually modeled and animated. A restrained material treatment, detailed modeling, and dynamic camera movements were used to highlight the distinctive form and character of each instrument.
An original soundtrack was composed for each sequence using the featured instrument itself, creating a direct connection between the visual language and the sound of each episode.
